Reverence FS Bart

Swiss “brothers” FS Bart are famed for their genre-hopping sets which spread the gamut of raw, even brutal sonics. Spinning everything from Industrial to tripped out Acid - the duo run 12 o'Clock; a multi-disciplinary outlet for records and podcasts from friends both Swiss-based and from further afield.

After a slew of galvanised club tracks on labels such as Adroit, Konnektivmusik and - of course - 12 o'Clock - the duo make a welcome return to their second home; 'made of Concrete'. This makes for their 2nd full EP on the label and comes backed up with a mesmerisingly ghostly remix of 'Solved' from Alek S.

'Pulse' kicks the record off as it would a DJ set, distant throbs and flickers stay ducked under washing, metallic synth tones that provide both a pensive sense of tension and the perfect platform for a subsequent journey.

'Reverence' then gallops straight in with razor sharp drums and an urgent atmosphere. Nifty fills and sequencing push a similar metallic sound palette throughout before 'Solved' then follows up with a dimly lit but compelling Techno track. Suffused with a certain fog, progress chugs forwards in a manner set to keep eyes pinned to the floor and in a manner which rounds of a diverse release perfect for a wide range of dance floor moments.
