The Cologne artist Arjan Stockhausen is presenting a multimedia, walk-in spatial sculpture called “Trichter” (Funnel) at Art Cologne 2023. Baroque like painting, sculpture and film interact with music in the form of the sound installation “Rückverzauberung im Trichter" ("Re-Enchantment in the Funnel”) by Wolfgang Voigt. A three-dimensional, spherical-abstract loop opera that, in three movements between sacred choirs and profane bass drum, puts the room in a hypnotic state of suspension. No beginning, no end. No up, no down.
Arjan Stockhausen and Wolfgang Voigt have documented their collaboration in the form of a handmade, limited art record. The edition, consisting of a record (individual dubplate production) with the music of Wolfgang Voigt, in combination with variants of Arjan Stockhausen's visual work, is available in 2 versions.

Der Kölner Künstler Arjan Stockhausen präsentiert auf der Art Cologne 2023 unter dem Namen "Trichter" eine multimediale, begehbare Raumskulptur. Barockesque Malerei, Skulptur und Film, interagieren mit Musik, in Form der Klanginstallation „Rückverzauberung im Trichter“ von Wolfgang Voigt. Eine dreidimensionale, sphärisch-abstrakte Loop Oper, die in drei Sätzen zwischen sakralen Chören und profaner Bassdrum den Raum in einen hypnotischen Schwebezustand versetzt. Kein Anfang, kein Ende. Kein Oben, kein Unten.
