Nandu’, hailing from Copenhagen has over the last few years fast built his reputation for making underground techno and house ,exploring the world of rhythm and melodies combined, trying to create a unique deep and refreshing sound. With his roots deep in other genres like jazz, rock and pop, he seeks to combine them all in an electronic setting(Influences including Stimming, Dave DK, Miles Davis, Robag Wruhme, James Blake, Guti, Martin Buttrich and many more.) Not only aiming for the dance floor, but also seeking to inspire and tease the imagination, his soundscapes take you from the south American beaches to the cold Nordic winters, from the deepest jungles to the coldest urban settings. With the release of his last album “Love You Til The End”, he manifested his position in the music scene, and his unique style and forward thinking way of creating electronic music resulted in top reviews from both Mixmag Germany and Decoded Magazine, and heavily support from guys like Eagles And Butterflies, Re.You and Rampa. With a long line of cutting edge releases, on labels such as Constant Circles, Kindisch & OFF Recordings and a recent classic on Rebirth, Nandu follows up with another serving of unique scientific soul on connected.

01. ‘Yolanda’. (Original Mix) Inspired by a jam with an old marimba sample , developed into a memorable and evocative melody underpinned by a huge rhythmic pulse enveloping the senses and opening the mind.

02.’Lip Sync’. Created with energy from a DJ set with Stefano Ritteri who played an amazing set combing crazy melodies with more straight up dance floor jams, ‘Lip Sync’ definitely achieves this combination , locking in Nandus’ signature rhythm to an unidentifiable melodic refrain. Mind expanding in the club or in the headphones.

03.’The Way To Soul’ Nandu’s starting point for a track is often from imagining a soundtrack to a journey, ‘The Way To Soul’ being realised after watching a documentary about Egypt and thoughts of flying over empty deserts and huge mountains. A travelogue for the ears and body.
