Walls "Coracle Remixe" Full Album Stream (via The Quietus)

Walls return May 28th with 2012's "Coracle Remixe", a compendium of choice remixes by some of the finest electronic minds working today, a forward thinking cast of electronic luminaries delivering their own interpretations on Walls' fantastical sonic excursions. Tri-Angle Records' ghostly beatsmith Holy Other steps up with an epic doom laden take on Sunporch - portentous slabs of bass and echo chamber stabs wrapped in sinuous guitar while Industrial techno provocateur Perc turns it into a stripped down mechanistic slam-dance... Kompakt royalty and brother duo Voigt & Voigt isolate the opening refrain of "Raw Umber / Twilight" and turn it into a sparkling, mesmeric head nodder in true Koln style. John Tejada's recent album "Parabolas" for Kompakt was surely one of the brightest highlights in a glittering career - his contribution here is to turn "Drunken Galleon" into a soaring sunset anthem, while sensitively preserving the aching emotion of the original. The digital edition also holds two brilliant reworks from Capracara and Esperanza, and all that streaming beauty is presented exclusively by the good people over at The Quietus. You might want to know that Walls also started their UK gig circuit yesterday... it's a bird, it's plane, it's Walls on tour!
