One quick look at our featured releases for this week and you'll see that we've got some truly great vinyl back in. Take Andy Stott: his "Passed Me By" and "We Stay Together" EPs on Modern Love are highly sought-after items that have been collected on an universally acclaimed CD album, confirming Andy Stott as one of last year's foremost producers... but the vinyl edition had been sold out ever since. The same can be said of Robag Wruhme's "Donnerkuppel" and Kölsch's sophomore release on Speicher, which were gone so fast we couldn't even spell their names. Other quality restock includes the Scuba/Efdemin remixes for Deadbeat and Maxmillion Dunbar's "Polo" versions: classics that bounce. This week's news holds Wolfgang Voigt, who continues his "Rückverzauberung" series on Magazine with three excellent tracks marking his first return trip to the spheres of Gas since the legendary project's retrospective in 2008. This vinyl-only release is available as a standard or limited edition, with the latter featuring original artwork and being limited to 30 copies only. Meanwhile, John Tejada's Palette outfit found a new distributor with Kompakt and celebrates the transfer with "Our Gigantic Mistake", co-signed by Justin Maxwell and the labelhead himself. Going from anthemic electro blare to dark acidic textures, the duo continues their unique approach to collaboration using a hardware-only modular synth setup. Special note should be taken of New Build's "Do You Not Feel Loved?" on Lanark: a dreamy anthem for those blissed-out moments, the stunning original gets two gorgeous remixes by Dominik Eulberg and Juju & Jordash. And even more lovely news comes with the latest releases by Throne Of Blood, Platzhirsch Limited and Echocord Colour, with each label delivering true signature tracks. Let your freak flag fly!
