Jan-Eric Kaiser went through the classic school of Cologne bars, private parties and small events. The resulting variety in music, as well as the impact of regular attendance at Total-Confusion has defined and still keeps on influencing his style until today.
After gaining attention of Michael Mayer in 2003 he gets the chance to DJ at Studio 672, which turns into a 3 years long residency alongside Tobias Thomas, Michael Mayer and Superpitcher. At that time Jan-Eric releases two Mix-CDs on his home-label Areal-Records.
Jan-Eric defines himself a DJ of the sound of cologne. He knows how to combine techno with pop and elements of house with minimal, besides his trips into other musical excursions. He already presented this musical spectrum on big festivals such as Benicassim or the Ukrainian (Mayhem) Kazanthip.
In the present he is playing at Berlins Panorama Bar or Barcelona´s Loft on a regular basis. More over he is hosting the "Trigger"-Party, where stars like Miss Kittin, The Modernist, Tomas Andersson or Justus Köhnke have already attended.
