Philipp Kolbe is a Leipzig-based producer and DJ, shaped by the city’s decades-long underground and club culture as much as by music across genres. He works by accumulation rather than blueprint: starting from a single idea, he layers rhythms, melodies and textures until several songs seem to be running at once.
Analogue synths, drum machines, field recordings and fragments of voice drift through the mix, shifting the centre of gravity as they go. The result is house music with a restless inner life - warm, physical and never quite settled.
