20 Years Of Kompakt at Art Cologne - Vernissage & Party
Anlässlich seines 20-jährigen Jubiläums erhält Kompakt nun auch den offiziellen Ritterschlag der Kunstwelt: Erstmalig wird das Pop-Art-affine Elektroniklabel auf der renommierten Kölner Kunstmesse Art Cologne vertreten sein. Am Kompakt-Stand gibt es neben dem gesamten Labelprogamm eine Auswahl von limitierten Sammler-Editionen diverser Kunsttonträger zu sehen/kaufen. Außerdem präsentiert sich Kompakt mit einem Pop-Ambient-Chill-Out-Raum und einer Klanginstallation im Eingangsbereich. Das muss natürlich gefeiert werden: im Anschluss an die Vernissage auf der Messe am 18.04.2013 ( 17.00 Uhr bis 21.00 Uhr) geht es im Gewölbe am Hans-Böckler Platz weiter: Ab 22.00 Uhr werden die Kölner Kompakt-Größen Michael Mayer, Justus Köhncke, Jörg “The Modernist“ Burger (live) sowie Okinawa69 die Kölner Fangemeinde und die internationalen Kunstgäste bei Kölsch und Champus musikalisch und optisch verarzten. Doch merke: keine Warm-Up-Sets! Wir steigen direkt in die Party ein, also früher kommen und schneller feiern! Unterstützt von Glacéau vitaminwater.

In celebration of its 20th anniversary Kompakt now receives knightly accolades from the art world: for the first time ever, the Pop Art-savvy electronic label will be represented at prestigious art fair Art Cologne. Besides the complete label catalogue, you'll also find a selection of limited collectors editions from miscellaneous sound art releases at the Kompakt booth. In addition, Kompakt will host a Pop Ambient chill out lounge and a sound installation in the entry area. In order to keep the fire burning, the vernissage at the fair on April 18th 2013 (5pm til 9pm) will followed by an event at the Gewölbe Club on Hans-Böckler-Platz: starting at 10pm, Cologne's Kompakt luminaries Michael Mayer, Justus Köhncke, Jörg "The Modernist" Burger (live) and Okinawa69 will patch up both the local fan community and the international art crowd with sounds and sights, accompanied by Kölsch and champers.
