WOLFGANG VOIGT - LOVELY UGLY BRUTAL WORLD

in der JUBGalerie. In der Ausstellung präsentiert Voigt aktuelle Arbeiten, in welchen er seine bekannten Themen variierender, repetitiver Strukturen und Formen (Beat, Muster, Loop...) im Wechselspiel mit Sample-(Foto)-basierter gestischer Dekonstruktion aufgreift, weiterentwickelt und sie in eine neue Materialästhetik überführt. Ab 20 Uhr spielt Wolfgang Voigt “The Statement Konzert - Loop and Destroy” live in der Galerie. Zur Ausstellung erscheint die limitierte Dubplate “Loop and Destroy 1-4”. Es beinhaltet vier exklusive Tracks plus einen Kunstdruck (UV-Direktdruck auf Aluminium) in der Größe 30x30cm. Außerdem einen Textdruck (deutsch/englisch) auf Fine Art Papier.

In the exhibition, Voigt presents current works in which he takes up his well-known themes of varying, repetitive structures and forms (beat, pattern, loop, etc.) in interplay with sample-(photo)-based gestural deconstruction, develops them further, and transforms them into a new material aesthetic. Starting at 8 p.m., Wolfgang Voigt will play "The Statement Concert - Loop and Destroy" live in the gallery. The limited edition dubplate "Loop and Destroy 1-4" will be released to accompany the exhibition. It includes four exclusive tracks plus a 30x30cm art print (UV direct print on aluminum). Also included is a text print (German/English) on fine art paper.
