Download Enveloppé, Exhibition ARTECHOUSE, RENEWAL 2121 (2021)
Today we present you a very special international and interdisciplinary collaboration, centered around the new electronica album by Mario Hammer And The Lonely Robot and leading to an exciting new addition to the KOMPAKT download shop. The starting point of the whole thing is the multimedia exhibition RENEWAL 2121, which has been shown since March 15 by ARTECHOUSE, an interactive art space and multimedia collective, in Washington, D.C. in the USA. ARTECHOUSE creates, produces and presents innovative art across platforms, primarily in New York, Miami and Washington.
ARTECHOUSE researches and works at the forefront of art and technology to develop, produce, and present cross-genre immersive projects. RENEWAL 2121 was developed in collaboration with multidisciplinary artists from around the world, including visual design by Yuya Takeda and music by Mario Hammer And The Lonely Robot.
Inspired by the annual cherry blossom in Washington DC and the use of creative technology, the exhibition seeks to inspire hope for a better future in the face of global pandemic and climate change concerns. Looking ahead 100 years, the exhibition surrounds visitors with an overdeveloped metropolis where nature struggles to survive. A vision of the future that could come to pass if humanity does not change its current behavior. With the help of people who are willing to not let this scenario happen, cherry blossoms make their way back to the light through neon, concrete and plastic.
Mario Hammer and his collaborator Josef Steinbüchel can already look back on two joint albums for Traum Schallplatten and Bine Music, in which they musically traveled mainly the ambient universe of analog synthesizers. In 2019, Mario's third album was released on Cocoon Recordings. The 4th album "Enveloppé" was licensed by ARTECHOUSE for RENEWAL 2121. Using the brand new 360° immersive audio technology (Dolby Atmos, Auro 3D), "Enveloppé" will also be released on an additional bluray.
Visitors to the exhibition will now have the opportunity to digitally purchase the album by Mario Hammer And The Lonely Robot. For this purpose, we have linked up with ARTECHOUSE and are now offering "Enveloppé" worldwide exclusively on our KOMPAKT Download Shop platform at a reduced special price. Heute stellen wir Euch eine ganz besondere internationale und interdisziplinäre Kooperation vor, in deren Mittelpunkt das neue Electronica Album von Mario Hammer And The Lonely Robot als spannender Neuzugang in unserem Download Shop steht. Ausgangspunkt des Ganzen ist die multimediale Ausstellung RENEWAL 2121, die seit dem 15. März von ARTECHOUSE, einem interaktiven Kunstraum und multimedialen Kollektiv, in Washington, D.C. in den USA gezeigt wird. ARTECHOUSE kreiert, produziert und präsentiert plattformübergreifend innovative Kunst, in Washington, ebenfalls an den Standorten New York und Miami.
RENEWAL 2121 wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit multidisziplinären Künstlern aus der ganzen Welt entwickelt, darunter das visuelle Design von Yuya Takeda und die Musik von Mario Hammer And The Lonely Robot.
Inspiriert durch die jährliche Kirschblüte in Washington DC und unter Anwendung moderner Technologie, versucht die Ausstellung Renewal 2121, angesichts einer globalen Pandemie und der Besorgnis über den Klimawandel, Hoffnung auf eine bessere Zukunft zu wecken. 100 Jahre in der Zeit nach vorne schauend, umgibt den Besucher in der Ausstellung eine überentwickelte Metropole, in der die Natur um ihr Überleben kämpft. Eine Zukunftsvision, die so eintreten könnte, wenn die Menschheit nichts an ihrem gegenwärtigen Verhalten ändert. Mit Hilfe von Menschen, die bereit sind, dieses Szenario nicht eintreten zu lassen, bahnen sich Kirschblüten durch Neon, Beton und Plastik ihren Weg zurück ans Licht.
Mario Hammer und sein Kollaborateur Josef Steinbüchel blicken bereits auf zwei gemeinsame Alben für Traum Schallplatten und Bine Music zurück, in denen sie vor allem das ambiente Universum analoger Synthesizer musikalisch bereist haben. 2019 erschien das dritte Album von Mario auf Cocoon Recordings.
Das vierte Album "Enveloppé" wurde von ARTECHOUSE für RENEWAL 2121 lizensiert. Unter Verwendung der brandneuen 360° Immersive Audio Technologie (Dolby Atmos, Auro 3D) wird "Enveloppé" zusätzlich auf einer Bluray erscheinen.
