Download the first single "Umarmt" from the upcoming album by Thomas Fehlmann

In September 2020, we paid tribute to Thomas Fehlmann and his remarkable body of work, which has so far been published by Kompakt, with a comprehensive digital Artist Spotlight. At the beginning of April, his new Kompakt album "Böser Herbst" will be released, on which, after "1929 - Das Jahr Babylon", he once again deals electronically with the music-historical background of the German TV series "Babylon Berlin", carefully dusting off archive material, voices and other found objects and combining them into a soundtrack that floats enchantingly between the time axes.

The no less graceful ambient techno track "Umarmt", which we have chosen as the first single from the new album, is available now, almost two weeks before the official release date, exclusively in our Digital Download Shop.

Im September 2020 haben wir Thomas Fehlmann und sein bemerkenswertes bislang bei Kompakt erschienenes Gesamtwerk mit einem umfassenden digitalen Artist Spotlight gewürdigt. Anfang April erscheint nun sein neues Kompakt-Album "Böser Herbst", auf dem er sich nach "1929 - Das Jahr Babylon" erneut elektronisch mit dem musikhistorischen Background der deutschen Fernsehserie "Babylon Berlin" befasst und dabei Archivmaterial, Stimmen und andere Fundstücke behutsam entstaubt und zu einem zauberhaft zwischen den Zeitachsen schwebenden Soundtrack verknüpft.

Den nicht weniger anmutigen Ambient-Techno Track "Umarmt", den wir als erste Single des neuen Albums ausgewählt haben, gibt es ab sofort, knapp zwei Wochen vor dem offiziellen Release-Datum, exklusiv in unserem Digital Download Shop.
