Kompakt's Record Store Day 2012

Record Store Day 2012 was quite a successful one for Kompakt, with a great crowd in a tightly packed store, a neverending supply of beer (well, it did end at some point) and tons of great releases flying off the shelves. There was even a queue at the counter, a phenomenon we haven't observed in years. Actually, the best-selling records for that day were Michael Mayer's remix for Apparat (our exclusive RSD release, out on Kompakt.fm this coming Friday!) and the debut album from Mohn (with the latter being literally sold out of the box)... a beautiful sight for our staff members.
