Magazine presents Wendy Gondeln's "Fracking"

Cologne label Magazine will release their first EP in 2014 by Wendy Gondeln next week. Follwing Wassermann's "Dumpfe Töne" in 2013, which operates at the noisier end of techno already, Gondeln, also known as the German painter Albert Oehlen and longtime Red Crayola member plays up that aspect even further. And creates a new dance style: Fracking. "When Magazine (Jens-Uwe Beyer, Crato, Barnt) heard of this new thing called Fracking, they had to start Fracking too. Of course.", explains the press release. In this video here you can see the Italian duo Tale Of Us fracking as well. They played the Magazine Version "Fracking-Eins" at Sunwaves Festival in Romania – in full effect! Stream snippets of the whole EP here.
