"Mantasy" cover artwork by Wolfgang Voigt

Belgian blog Plastic Circles does things a little bit different, as they don't review records, but their cover designs. Their latest praise went to Michael Mayer's "Mantasy" featuring original artwork from our very own Wolfgang Voigt, whose prolific career designates the Kompakt founder as an accomplished visionary in both electronic music and visual arts. For more reviews of Mantasy's actual content, check out the favourable verdicts from NPR music, Clash Magazine, The Fader or Resident Advisor, with the latter calling the album's hit single "Good Times" "nothing less than a 'Promised Land' for 2012".
