Pan/Tone & Metope at Gewölbe + New mixtape
Areal Records' Metope and Kompakt booking staple Pan/Tone are preparing for a trip to Cologne's Gewölbe on Saturday, June 8th, not only marking the temporary return of two supposedly lost sons to the city, but also the 40th birthday of Canadian master of disaster Pan/Tone aka Sid Le Rock aka Gringo Grinder aka Shelbono Del Monte aka whatnot... it's a family reunion, obviously. Rising to the occasion in his usual WYSIWYG manner, hosting resident and Truffle Shuffle's truffle to the shuffle, Marc Lansley put together a mixtape with some past and present exploits of the two visiting renegades. Vodka, anyone?
