The Field's "Cupid's Head" nominated best new music by Pitchfork

We already told you about it via our Facebook and Twitter accounts a few days ago, but Pitchfork nominating The Field's latest full-length "Cupid's Head" as best new music makes us so darn proud that we have to mention it on our blog, too. Shaping up to become a record as successful and acclaimed as its predecessor "Looping State Of Mind", the new album is an accomplished continuation of The Field's aesthetic partialities but also an elaborate consolidation of the diverse sound strains descending from Axel Willner's side projects. Pitchfork calls it "Willner's strongest collection since that game-changing debut", referring of course to "From Here We Go Sublime", the landmark release that put The Field on everybody's list.
