Walls remix BBC radiophonic workshop pioneer Daphne Oram
There's always something boiling in the secret labs of noise lounge rockers Walls: this time, the duo collaborated with the private sound archive of BBC radiophonic workshop founder Daphne Oram - she was not only one of the earliest pioneers in electronic music, but also one of the rare female contributors to this male-dominated culture. The result from these sessions is an exciting full-length, brimming with crackling soundcapes and richly textured synth - out on May 5th via Ecstatic!
