Watch "Improvised Piano Works 1" on Radio Bongo gets full-length video
The new label founded by GusGus' President Bongo made its mark with the "Improvised Piano Works 1" by Davíd Thor Jonsson. The Icelandic composer and pianist provided us with 15 beautifully sparse, often brooding instrumental improvisations blessed with a sublimely personal character. Now, Radio Bongo drops this enigmatic 30-minute video for the whole LP, showing also in film "how improvisation and composition can meet effortlessly as a creation of musical ideas and sounds."
