Wolfgang Voigt's Studio 1 returns with "Gelb" & "Lila" remastered
Kompakt founding father and purveyor of fine minimalist techno Wolfgang Voigt is known for many challenging and pioneering projects, but one highlight everybody holds dear is the legendary Studio 1 12" series. Lisbon-based vinyl-only label Assemble Music recognized the historical (and intrinsic) value of the concept and took it upon itself to reissue remastered versions of two key tracks originally put out in 1996: "Gelb" and "Lila" will hit the shelves on November 18th... clearly, the revolution wasn't televised, but pressed on vinyl.
