Malte Zenses, born 1987 in Solingen (NRW), is a German artist and experimental musician. During his school years he played in punk bands with friends, before inheriting his grandma's old piano and working on solo material. His artistic research deals with dystopian landscapes of future and is a multi-layered sound portrait of its fictional protagonists. Over the past six years Zenses worked on several gallery and institutional exhibitions, where he showed his paintings and installations. 2022 he released his debut EP “2021” under his last name “ZENSES” on the label “JUBG” (a Cologne-based gallery founded in 2020 by Jens-Uwe Beyer and two partners), in addition to collaborations with artists such as Max Andrzejewski, Zola Mennenöh and Andre Siering.
