Our Various Artists Compilation is back on AZZUR and we’re bringing you 5 brand new tracks from label regulars and new faces.
The compilation opens with "Miroir Authentique" from Ikaro Grati. This track is our perfect definition of what a dancefloor banger is. It has infiltrated our sets this summer countless times and we can now say that it is a perfect track to send the crowd into dancefloor euphoria. It is epic and for sure one that people will remember at the end of the night.
Next up we have "Apui" from our two founders Konvex & the Shadow and Melokolektiv. This time the French duo serves up a club track built around a main synth bass theme and some Afro percussions. The track is driving, dark and obscure - made with the peak time dancefloor sets in mind.
Olaf Orbit follows with "Mutterkorn". Asking you to close your eyes when listening to a track feels a bit cliché, but this is a track that will whisk you to dreamy places far from reality. Olaf has created a sophisticated parallel world, full of vintage synths and beautiful melodies. The prolonged breakdown accumulates a growing tension that ends with a perfect drop. Magic.
We released "Body" from L.K.F 2 years ago and when our core artist Ivory asked us if he could remix it the answer was a resounding yes. Ivory delivers a clubby edit of this wonderful track highlighted by Jim vocal and driven by the amazing synth work we’ve grown accustomed to from the Milan based artist. It does sound like a perfect combo doesn’t it?
The VA closes with “Mercat” from our friends Ivan Pugliares, Reezar, and Althoff. We met these guys at Sonar and it has become a true bromance. We are thrilled to welcome them on board with this indie dance track. The whole track is built around a banger arpeggiated bassline and a vocal that they have perfectly reworked. Nothing more is needed, here you have a secret weapon for any dancefloor.
