Cosa Buena Yamil / G.Zamora

Yamil & G.Zamora are a newly acquainted pair who immediately strike gold with their first single for the Stereo MC’s connected label. Born and raised in Burgos in Spain, Yamilhas been delivering high quality house for the last couple of years on Sol Selectas & MoBlack as well as some high profile festival stages. Musical producer and percussionist G.Zamora has studied ancient African and Latin American rhythms for over 20 years and brings ancestral folklore to his music. After a chance meeting in Malaga in 2020 led to Yamil remixing G.Zamora, a strong musical connection was soon formed. This led the pair to embark on a recording session that gave rise to the superb single presented here, ‘Cosa Buena’. The lush and sunny 'Cosa Buena' oozes positive vibes from its deep and warm chords. The airy, expansive melodies also flow freely and the organic percussion added live by G.Zamora, and exceptional flutes and romantic saxophone played by Leonardo La Peruta all bring layers of real musicality. Add in the gorgeous voice of G.Zamora who pays tribute to the Tumba and you have a real summer anthem.
