Late London is a proven DJ force who mixes up deep tech and house with nostalgic vocals wherever he plays. He is signed to Toolroom and is a resident DJ at DJ Mag's Number 1 club, Echostage, and has had many chart-topping tunes with support from the likes of Paco Osuna, Marco Carola and Hannah Wants. For this new outing, he joins with Miami's finest, Nii Tei, who brings his Ghanaian roots to his music when he plays key spots like Club Space & Do Not Sit On The Furniture and releases on Parallel, 3rd Avenue and more.
Up first is 'Disco Africa', a six-minute odyssey into twisted tech beats and authentic Afro percussion. All manner of wooden hits, melodies and vocal cries pepper the bubbly, broken groove which is endlessly evolving and full of soul. The superb 'Simigwado' is another characterful cut that has a busy arrangement full of life and vitality. Rolling toms and tribal vocal chants, hefty kick drums and jungle synths all add up to a fresh and sweat-inducing house sound.
This is a cultured pair of rich house tracks from this accomplished duo.
