Downtown EP Literatura / Stereo Mc's

Literatura continue with their eclectic output, this time with a track conceived and recorded in the summer of 2020, despite the lockdown they succeeded in making the recording with totally live recorded instruments , made in an environment designed to be a relaxed place where their musician friends could meet to speak about families and dream about the future aswell as creating music. Within this framework they have created a percussion and saxophone led house ‘jam’ that exudes warmth ,joy and positivity but also hints at the struggles of the present with the aura of the sunrise at a distant rave in a previous life. The connected crew felt an immediate empathy and love for the release which inspired a need for some vocal interaction , welcomed by Literatura and culminating in the final vocal and dub versions.
