Beer Techno, the third ... Two men, one drink. With ERDINGERTRAX 3, the Voigt Brothers' cheerful 12" series takes up the drunken fight one last time, but we all know that after the party is before the party. Here, sewing machines meet up with umbrellas on a regular basis, and after the first two manifestations (Rave alarm and hypnotic bomb, premium Pop Trance and drinking song) Voigt & Voigt follow up with Reggaetronics and sing-along Acid, sometimes all on the first bar, sometimes without a Three-O-Three, but always in the purple range. Quite often, it's really only the straight bass drum that is still able to drive, since everyone else is plastered out of their minds, and we all have to go places somehow... that's why the three tracks find themselves in the same place, almost reluctantly forced to communicate. Imagine the surprise, then, when they discover the similarities: a playfulness free of intellectual constraints, a personal commitment to the dance floor typical of the Voigt brothers, concrete friskiness and blurred precision, stoicism and rebellion, Techno one way or the other. Created simultaneously to the forthcoming Voigt & Voigt debut album "Die Zauberhafte Welt Der Anderen" ("The Magical World Of Others"), the Erdingertrax series represents the flip side of the authorial coin, a must for any ricocheteer interested in brute diversification.
