The latest project to come from New York based artist Will Thomas, Tiny Mile focuses on a more minimal and deeper approach to house music. Originally from the New York area, Will has spent time on both coasts of the U.S. working on film and TV scores as well as more artist driven projects. Having two full-length releases under the name 'Plumbline' on the London based Hydrogen Dukebox records, the third is a collaboration with ambient master Roger Eno entitled 'Transparencies' which is scheduled for release in February 2006. Will has also collaborated on various 12”s for Francois K's Wave Music label in New York, most notably as 'AlphaMotive' with Brendon Moeller of Beat Pharmacy/Echologist and 'Gravity Beats' with Ann Hairston of Annex. Many of which have been included on multiple compilations worldwide. Most recently he has recorded an exclusive electronic version of The Catherine Wheel's classic 'Black Metallic' under his Plumbline moniker, which is included on the compilation 'Never Lose That Feeling.' Having multiple personality and musical genre tendencies, Will established neutralmusic.com in 2000 as a hub for all his musical exploits with Tiny Mile being the most current. Combining sounds from analog synths and various computer generated sources, these new tracks lend a deep, pulsing mood that sit nicely on a dance floor yet also soak well into a home sofa environment.
