Bruma is a musician and producer from Madrid whose sound draws from influences such as Nicolas Jaar, James Blake, Arca, Thom Yorke and John Hopkins to build electronic songs of an emotional nature. His new album, Far From Me, recorded between Berlin (Reichenberger Studios) and Mallorca (Can Rei), and mixed at the OWT Studio in Madrid, will be released on May 7 by Forbidden Colors label (home of artists such as Aitor Etxebarría or Reykjavik606), and is the fruit of a sound search whose challenge is to create emotional landscapes from electronic instrumentation and textures of an organic nature. His professional facet as a music curator has allowed him to get up close to the particularities of the music field, and to accumulate experiences and influences from numerous artists, while developing his own sound. For his new album he has had collaborators such as the designer Rebeka Arce for the artwork, the artist Luis Urculo for the making of the video clip for the song “Come Closer”, and the multimedia artist Federico Guardabrazo, who will be in charge of shaping the visuals live.
