But in an incredible krautrock-like early-independent hippy charm on top of the hymn comes round a melody which should convince the hardest harmony haters. A tough riding on the discobass we used to trust on. Between onethousandandone fairy tales from Curtis Mayfield to Aril Brikha there is always space for one more from Justus Köhncke. This all makes us very curious as what will come from his upcoming Köhncke album „SAFEANDSOUND“.

Obwohl der Track nicht wirklich eine gerade Bassdrum hat, ist das Gefühl doch voll und ganz Techno. Allerdings mit diesem unglaublich krautig-frühindie- hippiemäßigem Charme. Gekrönt wird die Hymne von einer Melodie, die selbst den hartgesottensten Melodieskeptiker umhauen sollte. Check auch das außergewöhnliche Aquarium-Video auf youtube. Auf der B-Seite dann PARAGE. Ein Synth-Disco-Monster wie es Köhncker nicht sein könnte. Ein strammer Ritt auf dem Diskobass unseres Vertrauens. Zwischen tausendundeine Geschichte von Curtis Mayfield bis Aril Brikha passt immer noch eine von Justus Köhncke. Da dürfen wir gespannt sein auf das im Frühjahr 2008 erscheinde Album „SAFEANDSOUND“.
