For the second part of his First Drive remix series PopHop invited groove veterans Dole & Kom aboard. Their sweaty, ecstatic version of “Poland” stimulates us with a rhythmic and melodic precision as effective and compelling as a potent medicine. Then there’s Timboletti who dissects “Slovakia” with inebriate gestures, just to create a wonderfully surreal Downbeat track with the instrumentations of the original still circulating in it’s sonic orbit.
