PACHANGA BOYS AND SOLOMUN REMIXES

Just a few weeks after Michael Mayer released his third full length, the passionate and personal ‚&’, the album’s second single 'For You’ was released with three new edits. Due to overwhelming demand, we have pressed it up on a very limited edition 12" vinyl only available on KOMPAKT.FM and in our record store. Solomun is the first to rework the love story sung by Joe Goddard of Hot Chip/The 2 Bears. The track is transformed into a morning and night version. The Dynamic boss puts his well known vigour and emotional stamp on both versions. Whilst the morning version builds up slowly towards a gleamy break, the night version works on a more dramatic side of the song. On the flip side, Pachanga Boys’ reimagining of the song takes the listener on a shimmering and festive trip from start to finish. Bright and epic, stormy with a pinch of darkness or euphoric with a certain swing, all three takes uncover new sounds and atmospheres doing justice to the romance of the original.
