After a Covid hiatus, Here To Hell is back with a single that sounds made for these times. Label mates, fellow producers, DJs and fans have all called the track “unexpected”, “dark” and “moody” - words that perfectly suit both 2020 and K.I.M.; bedfellows in left field. While he’s best know as half of multi-platinum selling artist, The Presets, K.I.M. has an eclectic C.V. that includes multiple solo releases, producing DMA’s and Cub Sport, remixing Tove Lo, co-writing with DZ Deathrays and Slum Sociable and even composing the score for a science documentary. In keeping with that varied body of work “Ghost Town” lives in the shadows away from pop glitz, exploring the tense melancholia of lock down. For those who haven’t closely followed his career outside The Presets the song will probably come as a surprise. The guest appearance from Connie Mitchell, herself half of Sneaky Sound System, may seem equally unexpected. She effortlessly charts new depths on “Ghost Town” in a performance that’s… well …haunting. Connie’s surreal vocals and Kim’s moody production form a fresh and powerful combination for 2021. We are proud and excited to present this new work for the label – a perfect release for a time when dance floors are abandoned and we’re searching for somewhere else to just let it go.
