Glorious Miles EP Sobek / PALMFooD

After his many releases on MoBlack and Monaberry amongst others,this is Sobeks’ first outing on connected and sees him team up with Palmfood (MoBlack,Still Vor Talent). The meeting was inevitable,both living in Budapest and both with a shared love of deep percussive music ,and trail running. The ethnic melodic journey was named after their favourite hobby , forging miles in woods in any conditions and the satisfaction of completing the ‘Glorious Miles’

1.Glorious Miles: Already previewed by AndHim and also Moscoman on his Pete Tong’ stars of 2019 minimix, Glorious Miles is a prowling hypnotic percussion propelled floor mover with ethereal synths and spacious euphoric breakdowns evoking a spiritual journey with intent.

2.No Trail Is The Same : Perhaps the second part of the journey, understated but equally percussion and sequencer based, but drawing in from a repetitive, suggestive Asian rhythmic influenced refrain that paints a picture of new discoveries and insights.

3.Ascent Descent : A delicious rhythm track with sliding, talking drums and snake charmers melody with percussive breakdowns and synth sequences that rise to a crescendo and haunting whistle.
