»Hidden Desire« is Amiram Kadosh's first release for Live At Robert Jonhson and contains three pounding trippy techno tools for your pleasure. Kadosh, a Tel-Aviv resident, can be found doing his thing at clubs like Fabric in London, Blue Marlin in Ibiza, Nitsa in Barcelona or Berlin's very own Watergate. Plus he runs his own imprint, the beautifully named »Frau Blau Music«. But let's not talk about his label, let's talk about his music for LARJ: Let's start with the first one: »I Promised, Mom« is a dark and deep track made for this special peak time moment during a long and dark night full of other trippy tunes - yes, this one fits perfectly in said setting and rest assured: Mom won't be disappointed - this track works 100%! Title track »Hidden Desire« continues in the same vein. A couple of breaks add to the slight spookiness of the track and interrupt the steady pumping bass drum a couple of times. It's mind-boggling to say the least and we can imagine a couple of folks losing their mind when listening to »Hidden Desire« really really loud. Kadosh enters dream land with »Runaway (With You)« - and it really seems he's running away with you straight into this dream land. Bell-like sounds evoke a longing for a faraway land that comes with a certain promise to quench each and everyone's thirst for a better world. And it seems indeed that Amiram Kadosh knows how to get to this land immediately, a land where everything takes a turn for the better - toda Kadosh! Well done!
