Aweko Brian was born in Uganda and has risen up to be a new player in the Afro-house scene. He has collaborated with plenty of local talent, played clubs and festivals all over his home country and released several tracks that are now seeing him get international recognition. Here, he links with LaKwister, a multi-talented DJ and music producer whose passion runs deep and who has been captivating audiences with his boundary-pushing sounds for the last few years, as well as YHV Records associate Deepaac.

'I'm Awake' ft. Wisdom is a beautifully delicate deep house sound with dreamy melodies swirling up top. Cosmic keys bring further spiritual charm, and the vocal adds another layer of vulnerable emotion. As things roam on, the sprinkling of organic percussion keeps you under its spell and lost in the moment.
