Danny & Mike Parton are back with more of their signature classic, sample-heavy house jams for the twelfth release on their Jolene imprint.

Long-time house ambassadors Danny & Mike Parton continue to expand the Chicago House infused sonic universe they’ve meticulously built over the past years. Launched in late 2024 as a platform for warm, sample-driven house rooted in disco, funk, and ’90s house, the Partons have carved out a distinct niche in the underground scene, blending vintage influences with contemporary club energy. Since the inaugural Jolene 01 unveiled their shared vision of groove- laden, celebratory rhythms, each successive release has reinforced Jolene’s reputation for quality dance floor focused club cuts.

Danny & Mike join forces for the opening cuts of the project. On ‘Tilt’, the pair dive into sweeping, filtered funk samples, twitchy synth sequences and raw, shuffled drums, setting a driving, off-kilter tone. ‘Feel It Baby’ follows with jazzy keys, hip house vocal chops, a bouncy bassline and a tightly swinging rhythm section that keeps the energy rolling. The second half shifts into solo territory.

Danny Parton’s ‘Spicy Nuggets’ unfolds over five and a half minutes, layering bright, intricately chopped piano phrases over a classic house groove. Closing the release, Mike Parton’s ‘Hb Jolene’ cleverly reworks the acapella from Jolene, the label’s namesake, weaving it through sweeping resonant flutters, weighty sub bass and crisp, shuffled drums for a distinctive finale.
