DOC Records is proud to welcome Luiz Coppola Monegatto aka Coppola for a delightful and powerful EP entitled “Kings & Queens”. Coppola is a young underground DJ and producer with unique talent from São Paulo. The artist began to take an interest in electronic music when he was a little kid. At the age of 15, he began a production course and was noticed by one of the main agencies in the nation. Coppola’s incessant search for new textures generates an unprecedented musical brilliance. His remarkable production skills and live gigs are his trademarks. This 2-track EP is a surprising present to all house, techno and indie dance lovers. A soundtrack affair with special guests from 2Strange and a special remix from Gui Boratto. “Kings & Queens” is a combination of beautiful synths and melodies with a direct bass line on top of a dry comforting drum session. The duo 2Strange delivers a sharp vocal mood, turning into an intense and introspective work with a superb positive energy level. The track caught the attention of label boss Gui Boratto who gifted us with a massive dub remix version entitled “Gui Boratto Drag’s Mix“, another dance floor killer jewel for our joy. Inspired by Todd Terje, Eric Prydz, and Ten Walls, Coppola is a secret weapon coming out of Brazil, and now part of DOC Family. The prodigy kid has supported some significant international names, like Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin, Solomun, Gui Boratto, ANNA, Wehbba, Paco Osuna, to name a few.
