Love becomes resistance
Iron birds Data fragments A sky full of noise A heart still searching
With his new single “Kiyv”, Lopezhouse tried to capture the feeling of an artist living through war — the reality of singer Lannakise, based in Kyiv. But this is not a story of pessimism. Her voice becomes an instrument of resistance, turning tension into energy and uncertainty into movement. Aggressive basslines and powerful synth lines collide with a sense of optimism, creating an indie dance track that refuses to surrender to the darkness.
To top things off, London’s Hardt Antoine, a constant favourite here at Kompakt HQ, delivers a highly emotive, floor-ready remix.
Even when the sky is full of noise, there is still something worth dancing to.
