Maverick Max Mustermann (DE)

Max Mustermann is a project conceived by Mark Hawkins back in 2011, after having consumed a large amount of downtempo synth wave music whilst relocating to Berlin for the second time.

After over ten years of these tracks being archived away, they are finally seeing the light of day.

Mark chose the name “Max Mustermann” for this project after seeing it repeatedly on billboards around Germany advertising credit cards, as it is a placeholder name used much like “A.N.Other” in English speaking countries.

Both cuts feature thumping downbeat hiphop influenced grooves paired with lush synth pads, strings and leads, underlined by slick G-funk bass lines.
