Oven Fresh Electronic Music Junto Club

After two vinyl EPs on Optimo Music, Glasgow’s outsider post-post-post punks Junto Club return with (at least initially) a digital-only 3 track EP on Optimo Music Digital. Junto Club are four men from Glasgow who have remained friends since they were teenagers through creating music they love. Whilst learning new instruments during a long winter, their sound was fashioned unexpectedly with sporadic melodies overlaid on taut drum machines, synthesisers and bass guitar. Many humble dance moves followed as the band began to carouse behind closed doors with their newly found rhythm. All three tracks here could be the lead track. Unique, louche and never, ever boring.
