Dole & Kom present human voices making sweet love with synthetic dancefloor momentum. The trancy arpeggios of Birds & Horses lead us into the dreamlike scene of a prairie in the light of the blue hour. Somewhere in this wide open space there is an old phonograph playing the fragil, deeply hypnotic voice of a woman. Plenty Of Nothing is another distinctly melodic and distinctly banging tune, but here we encounter the melancholic sweetness of a male singer-songwriter. In his remix, Oliver Weiter merges this voice into the background and creates an escalating, oscillating, harmonically resonating anthem. Roots comes with lively ritualist chanting from the cradle of humanity. A perfect match for Mollono.Bass, the thin layer of desert dust on his remix vibrating in the rhythm of tribal percussion.
