Friday Dunard pulls the sawtooth from trance. Now he whistles elegiac prayers to mystical rivers on it. He lets it bubble out of battered cans of Monster Energy. He sings a protestant canon with it. And in the end it's trance again. Just like when we were guessing track intros with Ben.K on cuepoint.de. When Fruity Loops was the actual homework. When PvD appeared on Stuttgart's Schlossplatz, or James in a basement a little further on. Duni shares the river with Karlsruhe, the harbor with the Cologne label Magazine. There, not far from a SPA, the "Gerade" EP docked a few years ago. In the summer of 2023, it's "Cast off!" for "Rhenus Aeternus" - the first Dunard album on Magazine.
Friday Dunard zieht dem Trance den Sägezahn. Nun pfeift er auf ihm elegische Gebete an mystische Flussläufe. Er lässt ihn aus zerbeulten Monster-Energy-Dosen sprudeln. Stimmt damit einen protestantischen Kanon an. Und am Ende ist es doch wieder Trance. Wie damals beim Track-Intros-Erraten mit Ben.K auf cuepoint.de. Bei Fruity Loops statt Hausaufgaben. Bei PvD auf dem Stuttgarter Schlossplatz, bei James in einem Keller wenig weiter. Mit Karlsruhe teilt sich Duni den Fluss, mit dem Kölner Label Magazine den Hafen. Dort, unweit von einem SPA, legte vor ein paar Jahren die „Gerade“ EP an. Im Sommer 2023 heißt es dann „Leinen los!“ für „Rhenus Aeternus“ - das erste Dunard-Album auf Magazine!
