The second round of our summer slump series “Solo Für Zwei” features MACEO PLEX and CLARIAN. “Conjure Superstar” and “Mirror Me feat C.A.R.” were both huge hits in their respective release years (2014/2015) and helped to cement Eric Estornel’s status in techno’s hall of fame. Clarian North is an exceptionally talented producer from Montreal who had a string of hit singles with us between 2014 and 2019 before moving on to greener pastures as one of the most skilled tech instructors out there. “Space Noir” and “Ankh” are two cherished milestones within the Kompakt catalogue. It’s about high time to bring them back on vinyl.
Die zweite Runde unserer Sommerloch-Serie “Solo Für Zwei” präsentiert MACEO PLEX und CLARIAN. “Conjure Superstar” und “Mirror Me feat C.A.R.” waren beide riesige Hits in ihren jeweiligen Veröffentlichungsjahren (2014/2015) und trugen dazu bei, den Status von Eric Estornel in der Ruhmeshalle des Techno zu festigen. Clarian North ist ein außerordentlich talentierter Produzent aus Montreal, der zwischen 2014 und 2019 eine Reihe von Hit-Singles bei uns hatte, bevor er als einer der versiertesten Techniklehrer zu grüneren Weiden wechselte. “Space Noir” und “Ankh” sind zwei geschätzte Meilensteine im Kompakt-Katalog. Höchste Zeit, sie wieder auf Vinyl zurückzubringen!
