Tears & Hope - Part 4 Mollono.Bass
Tears & Hope, the forthcoming Mollono.Bass album, is all about contrasts. There’s Thunderstorm Crane, for instance, a tune that rolls onto the dancefloor like the dark,swelling wall of clouds that heralds heavy rain. In this picture, the melody is like a swarm of butterflies fluttering between the last rays of sun in the electrified atmosphere. Another Fall, one of the co-productions with MAZ’N on the album, plays with the warm uplift of synthetic melodies and the analogue, highly emotional depth and poetry of a human voice. The mutually reinforcing contrasts in these tracks give lively expression to the concept of Tears & Hope.
