Vivian's Bedroom Tamborim Dream

Tamborim Dream is the result of a seven-hour jam session in "*Vivian's Bedroom*" – an exhibition room with works by the artist Vivian Suter at Week-End Fest 2023.

The session, led by Cologne-based artist *Thomas Meckel*, was based on a modified version of the Brazilian tamborim drum, which – connected to a specially developed music computer – records harmonic sequences and (poly)rhythms them in a new way.

Over the course of the evening, musicians from the Cologne scene and international artists from the festival - including *Ana Frango Elétrico*, *Josephine Stamer* and *Simon Waskow* - spontaneously joined in with this set-up.
