Vortex Flow EP The Reason Y

After a pandemic hiatus, Camea’s Neverwhere label is back with a stellar upcoming release schedule and new look.

First up we are proud to present The Reason Y (Frederik Laaser). Frederik has refined his own style and signature sound on this EP, titled ‘Vortex Flow’, complete with groovy subs, punchy kicks, irresistible hooks and epic breaks. Previously releasing on Second State, Octopus, Break New Soil Label and others, Frederik is spreading his sound across the globe and is the first artist to have a solo EP on Camea’s Neverwhere label after his hit remix of her ‘Dystopian Love’ Album track this Summer.

Frederik’s sound can be described as a mix of creativity, ingenuity, and intensity, what he describes as being the key components to create the fascinating Techno of the "The Reason Y” (TRY), a project he created in 2015. He has, in a short time created a heavy buzz with his mind-blowing music, high energy gigs and a top notch event ’TRY Land’.

Over the last few years Frederik has refined his own signature style to engage the audience in any environment no matter the time. His experience and knowledge behind the mixer, as well as being an avid raver in the crowd, has helped him to spread and unfold his creativity in the studio as well. His quick rise and dance floor vibe has landed him a resident of the famous Watergate Club in his hometown Berlin, where he is hosting his own event called TRY Land sharing the decks with legends like Nicole Moudaber, Ilario Alicante and Technasia.
