First Advent Drop featuring Truffle Shuffle
On every Advent Sunday 'til Christmas, Kompakt.fm will drop an exclusive mixtape from one of our artist affiliates - the first entry comes from Cologne DJ duo Marc Lansley and Shumi aka Truffle Shuffle who take things in a decidedly snappy direction: their selection draws from fringe pop, post-bass and low-fi house soundscapes while keeping the bounce up front where it belongs. The two just launched their own Kompakt-distributed imprint Low Hanging Fruit which will see its first vinyl release with the "National Geographic EP" from modular mobsters Camp Inc. in January 2014.
