Today sees the release of Popnoname's third full-length "50°", an elegant journey from ambient soundscapes to early 90s shoegaze, hi-fi pop and techno, merging emotionality and functionality for both the floor and the living room. There are four videos geared up for the album, with the wonderfully flowing ballad "Meteor" - a highlight among many - being the first out the door. It's been directed and produced by our very own Okinawa 69 and can be found here. Besides the standard CD edition, "50°" is also available as a strictly limited art edition, where the CD comes welded in silicone rubber featuring a three-dimensional label logo made by acclaimed artist Andreas Gehlen - more info here!
