Psychadelic-house, dark-disco kings Juju & Jordash, San Proper, and Vakula have contributed remixes for this 12" gem; original tracks are taken from Jon McMillion’s debut album (NEK01) on Nuearth Kitchen. Championing an array of sounds from dance oor bombs to celestial landscapes, these three talents o er some of the industry's best on this release - a range of pure dance sensibility to psychadelica and esoteric soundcape design. J & J deliver a slow-churning, whomping dreamscape that coils and twists deep in the dungeon that it occupies. These two's free-form, experimental jazz background show through strongly here in their surreal EFW mix. The mighty San Proper then delivers two smashing contributions - a bombastic dance oor explosion (U Got That Look mix), followed by a peak time, driving tool (Movetek mix). San Proper has earned himself due respect among such industry kings as Ricardo Villalobos, Tom Trago, Linkwood, et al. for his incredible production talent, deejay skills, and unique tribal-meets-woo-jazz sensibility. Thirdly, the mighty Vakula delivers an oddball slo-mo kicker, using an array of playground and crime-scene sound efx, throbbing bass, and his signature cool-mint chords laid over shu ing clap percussion. With Vakula's musical contributions continuing to progress in their coolness, allure, and sophistication, we're excited to see more of his music appear on the Nuearth Kitchen imprint in the future. Stay tuned...
