Erdingertrax Digital Edition

Three maxis, two men, one drink... that was the bigmouthed motto of the "Erdingertrax CD 1", which in 2013 brought together the three 12inches Erdinger Trax 1, Erdinger Trax 2 and Erdinger Trax 3 by the Voigt brothers under one blanket. As a whitecap on top there were three unreleased bonus tracks included.

With the good-humoured Erdingertrax series, Wolfgang and Reinhard Voigt elevated the self-invented genre of Biertechno to an art form. As so often with the Voigts, the straight bass drum is the only one here that is still allowed to march when all the others are already driving in serpentines. Out of the 10 tracks, which are now available for you exclusively and fresh from the download tap, a joy of playing sparkles, free from the all too serious purism, a Voigt typical commitment to the dancefloor, stoicism and rebellion, techno anyway. The Erdingertrax are the rough-and-ready flipside of the auteur’s coin, varied with brute force, a must for every troublemaker.
