Certainly one of the most diverse labels to grace our distribution, Mule Musiq is also an experienced release veteran - if you take into account its precursor imprints Mule Music and Mule Electronic, which were folded into the new label in 2012. But those two short years didn't stop the notoriously prolific Toshiya Kawasaki, head honcho of the Mule operation (and its adjacent disco musings on Endless Flight), to churn out an impressive amount of quality sounds, including contributions from artists as distinct as DJ Sprinkles, Barnt, Auntie Flo, Christopher Rau or Kuniyuki - just to name a few. The newest additions to this very unique and far-reaching back catalogue are Manhooker's voluptuous house epic "Heartbeat" and the third volume of the label's much acclaimed compilation series "Enjoy The Silence", again charting the borderlands of ambient electronics and neo-orchestral improvisation, with exclusive material from the likes of Vermont, Roman Flügel, Hauschka, Lawrence or John Roberts.
